About Photos of Singapore
Photos of Singapore is a project started by 2 persons. We do some events photography, wedding photography and studio photography during most of our free time. Our dream is to sell our prints one day for a charitable cause or simply to support our hobby, so if you are interested, i would be glad to be in touch.
Singapore is a small island to stay. Life may be hectic, but i find time to have a fulfilling life by giving all out in my passion: Photography. I am Rusty, and i will share with you more info about the island i call my home.
I love to visit photoblogs and I love to travel too. Usually before i visit a country i would look for a photoblog that would display how life in that country is for someone staying there for a long time so I started our photoblog to share to our friends who are keen to visit Singapore one day and take beautiful photos of Singapore life, culture and its vibrant and diverse landscapes. Some blogs that I visit are from Alaska, Chicago, Cincinati, Detroit, Fort Bragg, Greenville, Houston and San Antonio.
I read extensively and believe that there is a wealth of knowledge from great photography books that would bring you up to speed with photography much faster than just surfing the internet. Books such as Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting and Working the Plate: The Art of Food Presentation have inspired me tremendously. For beginners into Digital Photography, Amy Renfrey has an extremely useful e-book entitled Digital Photography Success which will enrich you with the right skills to improve your digital photography in 2 weeks. Or you could go to Flickr and view the variety of photos uploaded from members interested in various forms of photography.
Hope that our photography inspires you and builds that outlet of creative expression from you.
Lots of luv,
R & O
